Vitamin Sea: MASBATE (Burias Group of Islands)

San Andres Port Time check - 5:15am
Nature has never failed to amuse me with its superb beauty again and again.  I am always in awe with the exquisiteness of pristine beaches and the marvel of caves here in the Philippines.  That’s why I never strike out the places I already have been on my travel bucket list for the reason that I will always love to go back.

Ready, Set, Go!

To name some of the places I have been flabbergasted are Puka Shell Beach in Boracay, Tamaraw Falls and Virgin Beach in Puerto Galera Oriental Mindoro, Saud Beach in Pagudpud, Tiamban Beach in Romblon, Patar Beach in Bolinao Pangasinan, Cacupangan Cave in Mabini Pangasinan, Burot Beach in Calatagan Batangas, Calaguas Island in Camarines Norte, Cagbalete Island in Mauban Quezon and so much more.  And yet, I have this surreal feeling that I just can’t seem to get enough of these explorations in different paradise.  Just imagine the Philippine archipelago comprises about 7,500 islands of which 2,000 are inhabited and still more than 5,000 islands of the archipelago are yet to be named. (Mayuga, Jonathan (10 February 2016). “Namria ‘discovers’ 400 previously ‘unknown’ PHL islands using IfSAR”. Business Mirror. Retrieved 12 February 2016.   And this is the reason why my travel bucket list continuously gain unending entries.

Thank you for the hassle free trip
Our comfy ride to Quezon
Eventhough its already the start of rainy season (June) I can’t wrap my summer up!  And so I looked for my June dose of Vitamin SEA with my fellow DIYers and found an event with “Laboy Baboy Tours”.

Mandatory Sunrise Selfie  ^_^
Together with one of my accounting college bestfriend Ivy, we joined the Burias Group of Island in Masbate plus Alibijaban Island in Quezon tour organized by Bryan Leo Antazo for Php 2,500.00 per head of which it already includes Rountrip Land and Boat Transportation, Tent Accomodation, Island Hopping (Sombrero Island, Islang Dapa/Snake Island, Animasola Island, Tinalisayan Island, Iniwaran Island, Kastilyo Island and Alibijaban Island), Environmental Fees, Barangay Fees, Entrance Fees, 3 hosted meals (Dinner, Breakfast & Lunch) and some booze for socials.

Team Plus Size versus Team Free Size  ^_^

It’s with great honor to say that other joiners of this tour whom we have met share the same goals and practice the same advocacy as we are.

“Take nothing but pictures.  Leave nothing but footprints.  Kill nothing but time.  Burn nothing but calories.”

Who would have thought that these total strangers became our friends with high environmental awareness and genuine concern for the preservation of our Mother Nature.

So without further ado,  I would like to let my photos speak for itself to recapitulate our trip.
